Brooke Burfitt

Brooke Burfitt - Brooke joins the weekend breakfast show from Hayes 91.8 FM. It was only going to be a matter of time when Brooke would be nattering about her love of musicals. When she was eight, she watched 'High Society' - a film that catapulted her love of musicals. With the glamour of Grace Kelly and tones of Louis Armstrong, she couldn't imagine a more perfect world. Hence, she took to the stage singing 'Have You Heard' at the end of year school concert, whilst others performed S Club 7 dance routines. Perhaps it was the wrong audience, but she would not rest until she had spread the word. Brooke is delighted to share her findings with you on Jemm Three. When she can tear herself away from the station, she is a traveller reporter for LBC 97.3 and actor, whose work includes a role alongside John Thomson in 'Pulp', the part of 'Sally Sneed' in 'Death' and is the first girl to get killed off in horror 'The Addicted'!

Charlie Pagliero

I was extremely fortunate to have received a broad musical education from a young age. I always remember my dad sitting me down by the stereo at about age 3 and playing me two pieces of music he thought I would like - one was Beethoven and the other was Jimi Hendrix. My mum used to play the old Motown and Chess Records hits in the car while my brother introduced me to heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden and Pantera. My grandad even had a big influence on me, blaring trad. jazz from his bedroom speakers. I have played drums since I was 4 and have played in numerous bands over the years but the longest-running of these was really just an excuse to dress up and be silly. My other loves in life are Rugby (Leicester and England), real English ale, Italian food and a good beard.

Christopher Waterhouse

Christopher Waterhouse likes a good chat. Given his penchant for a good natter, friends and family suggested he consider a career in radio. So in between his studies and treading the boards in theatres around Tasmania (Australia), he presented for ultra106five for several years, including the weekly 'Sunday Edition' - a programme dedicated to supporting and promoting the arts. Professionally since then, he worked for several years as the Operations Coordinator of Sydney Theatre in Australia and since moving permanently to the UK last year, he's been at the new St James Theatre, as Operations Manager and then as Acting General Manager since Christmas. He is also a freelance compere and producer and has even been heard once or twice singing the odd bit of jazz. Like most, his introduction to theatre was through amateur theatre and the pro-am circuit and he has a long list of shows in the scrapbook, including appearances as Skimbleshanks (the Railway Cat) in Cats, Mary Sunshine in Chicago, Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar and Timothy in Salad Days. Christopher is delighted to be joining the team at JemmThree.

Stephen Beeny

Stephen has been obsessed with musical theatre from a young age and could often be found locked in his bedroom listening to showtunes by Sondheim, Rodgers and Hart/Hammerstein, Lloyd Webber, Julie Styne and a lot of G&S! While studying drama at Birmingham University Stephen directed and performed in a number of productions before going legit and treading the boards backstage across Europe. After James Bond capers and Peter Pan flying, Stephen worked as a theatre journalist for 10 years and now regularly treads the boards on the amateur circuit. Rediscovering forgotten musical gems and supporting emerging new composers is Stephen’s new passion and he looks forward to bringing you all the latest news, reviews and gossip from the world of stage and screen, each and every day, from 3pm-7pm.
